ENGL 3693 - Short Story Workshop #

3 Hours. A seminar style course that blends lecture with workshop, this course focuses on major figures spanning the history of the genre from its maturation as a form to the current practitioners. Students will read various authors with an emphasis on craft, producing and workshopping their own work while using those elements. May be taken twice for credit of up to six hours. Prerequisite: ENGL 3143 Introduction to Creative Writing
