MLS 4332 - Clinical Practicum I

2 Hours. Students will be assigned to clinical laboratories affiliates for practical experiences in various procedures and techniques in Phlebotomy and Hematology laboratory. This clinical includes observation and the completion of the clinical competencies, including psychomotor and affective skills, signed off by the laboratory supervisor or teaching Medical Laboratory Scientist. Grade for the Practicum is earned according to the published rubric provided to the student and entered by NSU faculty. Prerequisite: Completion of MLS 4334: Advanced Clinical Hematology with a grade of “C” or above.
