Theory and techniques for measuring physical, chemical, and biological parameters in fresh waters. Fundamentals of quantifying trophic-dynamics and estimating biomass production. Analysis and interpretation of data. Lectures, lab, and field.
Prerequisite: BIOL 4554 or 5554 Limnology or concurrent enrollment.
Co-requisite: BIOL 5562L Limnological Methods Lab.
Cross-listed: BIOL 4562.
Note: Credit cannot be earned in both BIOL 4562 and BIOL 5562.
