ENGL 3113 - Travel and Adventure Writing #

3 Credit Hours
This course focuses on the art of travel and adventure writing, which will take students beyond the role of a typical tourist.  Students will learn writing skills, styles, and methods of the competitive travel/adventure writing market.  Additionally, they will learn to identify unique story ideas with a “good angle.”  Students will practice these skills with brief excursions around the campus area.
Prerequisite: ENGL 1213 Freshman Composition II and instructor permission.
