PHYS 3613 - Optical Instrumentation #

3 Credit Hours
Students will explore the propagation of light with a focus on ray optics reflection and refraction, mirror and thin lens imaging, prism and basic fiber optics, optical instrumentation such as telescopes, microscopes, cameras, eyeglasses, and ray tracing of lens systems.
Prerequisite: PHYS 1215 General Physics II or PHYS 2215 Engineering Physics II.
