PHYS 3004 - Scientific Computation #

4 Credit Hours
Students will explore basic concepts and methods in numerical computation, symbolic computation, numerical integration, numerical solution of linear and nonlinear equations, numerical solution of differential equations, and Monte Carlo simulation.
Prerequisite: CS 2014 Computer Science I, MATH 2633 Calculus III, and PHYS 2215 Engineering Physics II.
Co-requisite: PHYS 3004L Scientific Computation Lab.
