H ED 3313 - Personal Fitness and Wellness

Students will identify and explain scientific principles and concepts of physical fitness and positive health behaviors using a research-to-practice approach. Students will develop a personally appropriate fitness and health program through the use of theoretical foundations of health behavior and motivational
theories. Students will demonstrate the use of cognitive and/or behavioral strategies and interventions to promote exercise adherence, set goals, and improve fitness and exercise performance.
