SCM 4723 - Materials Management HandlingCIP Code

The study of the concepts, models, and systems for material management and production planning. Material flow from raw material acquisition through the finished product is examined. Materials management covers the basics of supply chain management, manufacturing, planning and control systems, purchasing, vendor-managed inventory, inventory evaluation, physical distribution, and performance metrics.
