MATH 1313 - Elementary Statistics #CIP Code 270501
3 Credit Hours
Students will learn measures of central tendency, variability, and basic probability concepts. Students will estimate population means and proportions using point estimation, confidence intervals, and technology. Additional topics include discrete and continuous probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and linear regression.
Restrictions: Placement and enrollment in this course is based on ACT/SAT scores and/or placement exam scores, or a combination of ACT/SAT scores and high school grades in mathematics.
