A course designed to present the physicochemical and bio-pharmaceutical properties of drugs based on their molecular structure, the elements of drug discovery and drug design, the molecular mode of action of drugs and the chemical principles of drug absorption, distribution and metabolism as well as the interaction of drugs with receptors and the chemical basis of drug interaction. UG.
Prerequisite: CHEM 3223 Organic Chemistry II Lecture or CHEM 4214 Biochemistry.
Restrictions: Must be admitted to the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree Program.
