MATH 1523 - Functions and Change #CIP Code 270301
3 Credit Hours
Students will learn applications of linear, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and examine those functions when represented symbolically, numerically, graphically, and in words. Students will use technology for graphing functions, solving equations, and modeling data using regressions.
Restrictions: Placement and enrollment in this course is based on ACT/SAT and/or placement exam scores, or a combination of ACT/SAT scores and high school grades in mathematics.
