Students gain a foundational and practical understanding of the collection, storage and use of health services information. Technology is utilized to maximize the use of information and systems for decision-making in the delivery of efficient, high quality health care. Specific emphasis is placed on the practical application of technology from the managerial and clinical perspectives.
Prerequisite: MBA 5533 - Information Systems for Managerial Problem Solving.
Restrictions: Must be admitted to the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree Program.
