Students will learn about the history of the physician assistant profession, the current issues being faced, and the anticipated challenges ahead. Students will be equipped to become active participants within professional organizations at the local, state, and national level. Discussions of medical ethics and professionalism will enhance the student’s ability to demonstrate integrity as he or she engages in interactions with patients and colleagues
