Students receive specific instruction regarding topics contributing to successful clinical rotations including time management, professionalism, and basic facilities operations. Advanced Clinical Studies III course is part of a series of discussions, case presentations, lectures, learning workshops, and problem oriented case studies to further develop clinical skills and receive additional didactic instruction to compliment the student’s clinical rotations. Includes introduction to expectations and practices required during the clinical phase of the PA program. Topics introduced in earlier courses may be reviewed or covered in greater detail with specific clinical applications or examples provided.
Restrictions: Enrollment is restricted to students enrolled in the Physician Assistant Studies Program. Students must satisfactorily complete the didactic year of the PAS program with a 3.00 cumulative GPA and/or have permission of the PA Program Director before beginning courses in the clinical phase of the program.
