Description: Examines critical issues related to drug use, the relationship between drug use and criminal activity, its effect on the criminal justice system, and drug policy in the U.S. At the conclusion of this course the student should have a basic understanding of policy issues related to drug use and be able to formulate informed ideas about the relationship between drug use and criminal propensities.
