The demand for IS professionals who can design and maintain computerized information systems will continue to grow as we move into the 21st century. People majoring in IS become proficient in aspects of information system management common to all organizations, including: operating systems; local and global telecommunications; 5th generation programming; systems analysis; systems design; database and enterprise resource management; and e-business solutions. For students transferring with the Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree from a public institution in Oklahoma, all general education requirements will be satisfied with respect to degree requirements.
