BIOL 5164 - Medical Microbiology4 Hours. Discussion of general microbial aspects of infectious diseases including special bacteriology, rickettsiology, virology, medical mycology, protozoology, and helminthology. Principles of immunology and epidemiology are reviewed in laboratory procedures and lectures. Note: No student may earn credit in both BIOL 4164 and BIOL 5164 Prerequisite: BIOL 2224 and Junior standing.
