HCA 2112 - Introduction to Health Care Administration

2 Hours. Students examine the historical foundation and future challenges of the U.S health care system, the foundation of public health settings, complexities of health service organizations, basic policies and financial challenges.  Students begin their professional portfolios and explore career opportunities associated with managing hospitals, ambulatory care institutions, nursing homes, retirement centers, and other health care organizations.
