3 Hours. Designed to permit student to conduct in-depth research and investigation into a field of interest or necessity. Specific areas will be determined by the instructor and student in consultation. Note: Please note that students cannot apply more than a total three (3) hours of independent study (in media studies or communication studies) to a graduate degree.
