The study of interacting groups of organisms and the processes that determine their composition, distribution, rate of turnover, and utilization of resources.
Prerequisite: BIOL 1123 Evolution and Diversity and a course in Statistics (MATH 3513 Statistical Methods is recommended).
Co-requisite: BIOL 3524L Ecology Lab.
Note: Lecture, laboratory, and field (some overnight and/or weekend field trips possible).
