POLS 4313 - International Relations Theory #3 Hours. This course provides an overview of the principal concepts, issues,
questions, problems, and analytical approaches relating to
contemporary international relations theory. Particular attention
will be given to the history of international relations theory, the
scope and methods of international relations as a subfield of
political science, the levels of analysis problem, systems theory,
balance of power theory, liberalism, realism, neo-realism and
neoclassical realist theory.
