Students are introduced to the Spanish language and to Hispanic cultures. Course activities foster the development of all three modes of communication (interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational) and all four language domains (listening,reading, speaking, and writing).
Note: Native and heritage speakers of Spanish and students who studied the language in high school should contact the department for appropriate placement.
