Students participate in an interdisciplinary discussion of current issues in the American healthcare system including delivery methods, integration of services, reimbursement mechanisms, multi-organizational structures, and health policies. Attention will be given to the social, cultural, economic, and political influences that impact the American approach to maintaining its healthcare system’s viability and service issues.
