LTCA 5103 - Interdisciplinary Long Term Care CoordinationCIP Code 510718

Students will be introduced to National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) criteria and the certification process. Case management and the policies that guide health care professionals and employees to support and participate in collaborative initiatives. A review of the combined efforts of the following organizations to include Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Affordable Care Act, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration Life Safety Code, and other accrediting agencies.
Co-requisite: LTCA 5553 Long Term Care Facility Management and Compliance.
