LTCA 5553 - Long Term Care Facility Management and ComplianceCIP Code 510718

Students will be introduced to leadership procedures for resident centered care promoting an environment which promotes dignity, choice, accessibility, HIPPA compliance, community resources and methods for interdisciplinary care plan requirements, processes, and outcomes. Techniques will be introduced to ensure quality facilities management and preventive maintenance practices. Efficient and safe work environment guidelines, procedures and protocol will be reviewed with emphasis in emergency preparedness for long term care organizations.
Co-requisite: LTCA 5103 Interdisciplinary Long Term Care Coordination.
