ENVM 4053 - Environmental Toxicology


Description: An overview of the origins of toxicology and regulation of chemicals based upon experimental and analytical methodology. The toxicity of chemicals, their no- effect levels and thresholds, margins of safety, and bioaccumulation are studied. The effects of chemicals and how health problems are traced to environmental causes will also be reviewed.

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: ENVM 3023 Intro to Environmental Management or instructor permission.
