MUS 3743 - Secondary Music Methods

Description: Students learn about instructional and program materials, rehearsal techniques and program planning for the secondary choirs, bands, and orchestras. Students learn about organization, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, recruiting, motivation, and problems associated with assessment specific to music education. Students will write specific lesson plans, practice logs, and rubrics to teach across the curriculum. This course is a professional education course required of all music education majors.

Restrictions: Junior standing or above.
