Description: This course introduces the phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics of the Spanish language, with an overview of the history of the language and the major dialectical variations of Spanish as a world language.

Prerequisite: SPAN 2123 Intermediate Spanish II and three hours of upper-division Spanish.
