SPED 4253 - Instructional Evaluations and Implementation for Students with Disabilities CIP Code: 131011 Description: Students will learn how to design, implement, and evaluate curriculum and instructional strategies for students with disabilities in public school general and special education settings. Students will apply their knowledge in an integrated field experience where they demonstrate their ability to deliver research-based interventions, including RTI, use effective instructional strategies, apply behavioral modifications, administer informal evaluations, and monitor IEP progress for students with disabilities.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: EDUC 3113 Educational Psychology and EDUC 3313 Clinical Teaching & Pre-Internship I with a minimum grade of C or concurrent enrollment. Restrictions: Minimum 2.50 GPA.
