WGS 3000 - Special Topics Seminar CIP Code: 050207 Description: Course designed to meet any number of felt needs; the content will vary with the need. Seminar topics could include (but are not limited to) Defining Feminism, Women and Finance, Women and Incarceration, Parenting, Women of the New Testament, Women and the Courts, Critiques of the WGS Discipline, Indigenous Women, Feminists in the Local Community, Women in Politics, Human Trafficking, Poverty, White Privilege, Masculine Studies, GBLT, Media Representations, Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders, Women’s Health Issues, Critical Pedagogy, Self Defense for Women, and Muslim Women
Credit Hours: 1-3 Note: May be repeated for credit with different topics. Students will be allowed a maximum of nine (9) one-hour credits toward the 18-hour WGS minor. LAS Course: Yes
