ACCT 3823 - Forensic Accounting CIP Code: 430117 Description: Students will develop an understanding of the role of forensic accounting in economic decision-making, financial reporting, dispute resolution and investigations. Students will study the application of forensic accounting techniques in specific engagement settings, including fraud, bankruptcy, digital forensics, matrimonial disputes, financial statement misrepresentation, damages and valuation.
Credit Hours: 3 Lecture contact hours per week: 3 Prerequisite: ACCT 2103 Introduction to Financial Accounting and ACCT 2203 Introduction to Managerial Accounting.
