Description: An introduction to the characteristics and various approaches to designing and conducting qualitative research projects in communication studies. Students will gain hands-on experience in qualitative methods and analysis techniques. This course cannot be taken for credit by students who have concurrent or prior credit for the Qualitative Research Methods course in the departments of media studies or communication studies at the 4000 or 5000 level.
