MATH 5463 - Rate of Change

Description: Students will learn the mathematical concepts of limit, derivative, and integral using a modeling approach in order to gain a better understanding of the mathematics of change. Students will have the opportunity to construct and interpret mathematical models, analyze and improve them, and make predictions. In this course designed for mathematics teachers, the instructor will discuss relevant pedagogy for guiding, evaluating, and improving students’ learning.
