BIOL 1113 - General Biological Science (Lecture) CIP Code: 260101 Description: An introductory course concerned with fundamental biological principles, including form, function, and diversity of living things; genetics; evolution; and ecology.
Credit Hours: 3 Lecture contact hours per week: 3 Lab / Studio contact hours per week: 0 Restrictions: Placement and enrollment in this course is based on ACT/SAT scores and/or placement exam scores, or a combination of ACT/SAT scores and high school grades. Note: No major or minor credit. This course satisfies the general education requirement in Biological Sciences, except for the lab requirement. General education requirements include on laboratory course in either Physical or Biological Sciences. Students cannot receive credit for BIOL 1114 and BIOL 1113. Three hours of lecture per week.
