MATH 4243 - Elementary Number Theory

Description: Students will learn properties of divisibility, prime numbers, continued fractions, and multiplicative functions. Students apply Fermat’s Theorem, prove properties of congruence, solve Diophantine equations, solve systems of congruences using the Chinese Remainder Theorem, and prove relationships using mathematical induction.
