Description: Students learn assistive technology strategies and alternative/augmentative communication systems that are useful for the academic and social progress of students with disabilities, especially students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).   Students also learn characteristics, identification, history, causes, interventions, and current issues regarding students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
