SPED 5543 - Seminar: Eye/vision Conditions and Problems in the Visually Impaired

3 Hours. Includes 1) a review of information regarding health-related biology, including genetics; 2) demonstrations of the interrelationship of the eye and vision with systemic human physiology; 3) detailed information on the embryology pathophysiology of some common childhood ocular diseases; 4) methods for evaluating eye and vision status; 5) identification of therapies used to treat eye and vision problems; and 6) educational consequences of untreated vision malfunctions.
