CHIN 1113 - Elementary Chinese I

Description: An introductory course in Mandarin Chinese (Putonghua), designed for students who have had no prior exposure to Chinese language. The emphasis in this class is to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using both the Pinyin phonetic system and Simplified Chinese characters.
