Description: Students will examine significant historical transformations of diverse Indigenous identities and communities from the pre-Columbian to the contemporary period in lands now considered part of the United States. They will articulate the impact of contact between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and various governments. Students will develop research and analytical skills and digital literacy proficiency, practice historical thinking, and communicate acquired knowledge through written work.
