Description: This core clinical rotation provides students with exposure to the principles and practice of general women’s health including prenatal care and gynecology. This rotation will provide the opportunity to refine techniques of history-taking and physical examination specific to the women’s health patient population. This rotation will allow students to refine their ability to make correct diagnoses and create appropriate management plans. This clinical experience will prepare students to provide care as an entry-level physician assistant upon graduation.

Credit Hours: 4
Restrictions: Acceptance into the Physician Assistant Studies program.
