Mathematics Minor General Education Requirements

The following course prerequisite may be completed as part of the General Education requirements.

• MATH 1513 - College Algebra

Required Courses:

• MATH 2614 - Calculus I
• MATH 2624 - Calculus II

Additional Courses:

Of the remaining ten hours, no more than three hours can be at the 1000 level.  One course with a CS prefix, excluding CS 1003, may be included in the ten hours.

Note: The following courses DO NOT COUNT toward a minor in mathematics: MATH 3413 Geometry and Measurement, MATH 3433 Modeling: Numeration and Operations, and MATH 3443 Modeling: Real Numbers and Statistics.
