MLS 4226 - Clinical Virology/Parasitology/Mycology

6 Hours. Basic principles relevant to biochemistry of viral infection in hosts and ecology of virus.  Life cycles and pathogenesis parasites and fungi. Emphasis on diagnostic tools for identification of viral infections. Prerequisite: Admission into Medical Laboratory Science Degree Completion Program, BIOL 3224, and MLS 4124.
