MLS 4336 - Advanced Clinical Hematology6 Hours. This course is a continuation of the basic hematology course. Systematized study of disease, cell maturation and function, and methodology used in routine and special hematology studies, and in correlation of hematological findings with physiological conditions. Laboratory competencies completed at affiliated clinical site. Prerequisite: Basic Hematology (NAACLS approved MLT course) and completion of clinical core prerequisites for the Medical Laboratory Degree Completion program.
