MLS 4496 - Special Topics in Clinical Hematology

6 Hours. Advanced discussion of theory and methodology for assessment of body fluids, special hematology studies and hemostasis. Includes methods used in instrumentation for hematological studies, quality control and medical significance. Laboratory competencies completed at affiliated clinical site. Prerequisite: Completion of clinical core prerequisites for the Medical Laboratory Degree Completion program.
