MATH 5533 - Statistics for the Natural Sciences

3 Hours. An introductory statistics course for graduate students in the natural sciences. Topics include descriptive statistics, basic probability, probability distributions, estimation, fundamentals of statistical inference, hypothesis testing, regression, correlation, analysis of variance, and nonparametric methods. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, MATH 3513, and permission of the instructor.
