Students will learn the principles of protein structure and function, enzymology, biochemical energetics, carbohydrate, lipid, protein, and nucleic acid catabolism and anabolism, membrane structure and function, information transfer and gene expression, and the interdependence of biochemical pathways.
Prerequisite: CHEM 3123/3132 Organic Chemistry I Lecture and Lab.
