Nursing Statistics introduces basic techniques of quantitative data analysis in nursing. Descriptive and inferential statistics as well as nonparametric statistics, data reduction and management techniques, and the use of statistics in applied nursing research are included. (S, F)
Prerequisite: MATH 1473 Applied Mathematics, MATH 1513 College Algebra, or a Math ACT score of 23 or higher.
Restrictions: Admission to nursing major.
Note: Satisfies the program prerequisite statistics requirement.
