SPAN 4213 - Culture and Civilization of Spain #

Students study the culture, civilization, and history of the Spanish people, with emphasis on cultural themes and on the historical, political, intellectual, artistic, and social development of the Iberian Peninsula. The course includes lectures, multimedia use, reading and discussion of cultural and historical texts, research projects, and oral presentations.
Prerequisite: SPAN 2123 Intermediate Spanish II and three hours of upper-division Spanish.
