IS 3063 - Principles of Information Systems Description: This course provides an introduction to information systems, including system development concepts, information technologies, ethical and international issues, and the implementation of application software. It explains how information is organized and managed and how information systems drive and enhance competitive advantage. Students will work with spreadsheets, databases, the Internet and other relevant information technologies.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: Computer proficiency. Restrictions: Sophomore standing or above.
