MATH 4573 - Advanced Methods of Teaching Elementary School Mathematics Description: Creating and classifying mathematics activities for the elementary school classroom. Teaching mathematics concepts using games, simulation activities, problem solving quests, interest centers, concrete models and individualization. How to enrich and augment the traditional mathematics curriculum.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: MATH 4523 Teaching Elementary School Mathematics: Grade K-4 and MATH 4553 Teaching Elementary School Mathematics: Grade 5-8 or instructor permission.
